Paddleboarders and the Black Pearl at Sunset

A sunfish sailboat at sunset. I remember when these sailboats were all over the bay. There were a couple of places where you could rent one. Now it seems that people want to go hell bent for leather on a jetski (Not that there is anything wrong with that 🙂 )
Two boats at sunset in North Beach Haven, Long Beach Island
At the very south end of Long Beach Island, in Holgate, there is a beach area for fishing and bathing. These activities are dependent on the condition of the beach and nesting birds. There is a small parking area (Free in 2018) along with restrooms. Bowker’s is a short walk if you want to grab something to eat.
A ‘not very inviting’ day – Beach Haven Nov 2013. Fall days can be beautiful or they can be like this.
