Every fall, the St. Francis Community Center and Jewish Community Center host an 18 mile run/walk.

The event begins in Beach Haven.  For the most part, the runners use the boulevard except near the causeway.  More information is available at the St. Francis Community Center Facebook Page or the St. Francis site.

This has been a major event on the island. Expect some traffic delays, especially northbound on the boulevard when the front runners pass. There will be a steady stream of stragglers for a while. This effect is a bit more pronounced the further north that you go.
