A look at Long Beach Island, NJ
I was looking at the New Jersey Maritime Museum’s site and came across a link to Shipwrecks along the New Jersey Coast.
The fish factory processed Bunker. It was very active in the 1970’s. At some point after that, it ceased operations.
The Crystal Queen was a Paddle Boat that offered excursions to Atlantic City. She operated out of the Black Whale docks in Beach Haven. Service stopped some time after 2010.
We took a sail on New Jersey’s Tall Ship, the A.J. Meerwald in July 2019 from Beach Haven, NJ.
The A.J. Meerwald visited Beach Haven in 2012.

This classic wood yacht was at the head of Tuckerton Creek by the Stewart’s Root Beer docks for a number of years. My best guess on the last time I saw her was probably in the late 1990’s
There was a recent crash in 2020 of a banner plane in 2020 where two lifeguards rescued the pilot. That plane crashed into the ocean. This is a photo of a crash in the bay from perhaps the late 1970’s or maybe the 1980’s.
