UPDATE – July 2020 – Station 117 is offering outdoor dining in “The Garden”. It is well covered outdoor seating.
Station 117 Restaurant and Bar pays homage to the lifesaving stations that once provided protection and refuge for sailors along the coast of Long Beach Island.
The Pearl Street Market offers coffee, slushies, prepared meals, sandwiches and breakfast.
The Barnegat Light Museum is located in Barnegat Light at Central Avenue and Fifth Street. You can easily miss the museum as most people take Broadway to the Barnegat Lighthouse. The museum is well worth a visit, especially for the original first order fresnel lens from the lighthouse.
The Long Beach Island Foundation for the Arts and Sciences provides a variety of cultural experiences for people of all ages.

The Express Restaurant in Surf City was a collection of freight and passenger cars arranged into a restaurant. The restaurant closed some time around 2006. The cars are no longer on LBI
The 2019 Merchant’s Mart was blessed with decent weather this year. As usual, there were wall to wall people and good times.
UPDATE – 2020 – Due to restrictions on indoor dining, the Show Place is offering outside seating and take out.
The Show Place Ice Cream Parlor is a unique ice cream place with a 1900’s flavor. It is staffed by actors and actresses from the adjacent Surflight Theater.
Update 2020 – Howard’s is offering tent dining in a large outdoor tent in their parking lot until the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
Howard’s Seafood Restaurant has been serving great seafood since 1950. It is one of the few restaurants with a water view.
