UPDATE – 2020 – Due to restrictions on indoor dining, the Show Place is offering outside seating and take out.
The Show Place Ice Cream Parlor is a unique ice cream place with a 1900’s flavor. It is staffed by actors and actresses from the adjacent Surflight Theater.
Update 2020 – Fantasy Island is open with some restrictions such as masks, distancing and limited occupancy. BUT IT IS OPEN!
Fantasy Island is an arcade and amusement park in Beach Haven. Prior to it’s life as Fantasy Island, it was known as Hartman’s.
Bay Village in Beach Haven is a rustic village of small shops and restaurants. It has been a popular destination for over 50 years.
Kelley’s Old Barney restaurant is one of my favorites when visiting Barnegat Light.
Barry’s Do Me a Flavor is an ice cream shop in Beach Haven. In addition, they server fried fish, pizza and other food.
UPDATE – July 2020 – The waterslides appeared to be open on July 12th 2020. There will undoubtedly be Covid-19 related restriction.
The Thundering Surf WaterPark offers several water slides. There is a meandering tubing ride that is great for chilling out on a hot summer’s day. If you have younger children, there is an area for them. On your way up to the slides, you can man the water cannons and hose down the tubers and other slide riders. There is a massive bucket that is constantly filling and periodically tips over to deluge anyone nearby.
As of July 3rd, 2020, Barry’s Do Me a Flavor in Beach Haven had a large tent for outdoor dining as well as takeout.
The Dairy King is a small ice/cream custard stand in North Beach Haven.
